Congratulations to Elyn Garcia, Gallup Rotary Club's Senior of the Month for Ramah High School, on this outstanding achievement. We look forward to seeing where you go from here.

Today, Mr. Grassie took the Seniors to a college and career fair in Gallup. They got to meet with universities from around New Mexico and learned about some programs in Gallup they could go into. They also spoke to military recruiters and employers from Gallup. They enjoyed learning about future possibilities.

Deacon Clawson is last week's Athlete of the Week, embodying the very essence of dedication and perseverance. His tireless efforts to elevate his game and inspire his teammates through leadership by example are truly commendable. Moreover, his exceptional academic record, boasting a 4.0 GPA, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence. Congratulations, Deacon, on this well-deserved recognition.

Our new music program is thriving, thanks to Mrs. Morris's guidance. Students are not only learning to read sheet music and appreciate classic composers, but also developing their skills on the piano and guitar, unlocking a world of creative possibilities.

As Halloween approaches, the Ramah School of Business has been focusing on expired or nearly expired businesses. Mrs. Grassie's Business class conducted research and created headstones and ghosts for these businesses. Each class sponsor was assigned a defunct business for their door, including Payless for Seniors, Kmart for Juniors, Vine for Sophomores, Blockbuster for Freshmen, Radio Shack for 8th grade, and Toys R Us for 7th grade. As a business school, we are reminded that any business can fail if customers are not kept satisfied.

Red Ribbon Week October 28-31

Ramah School of Business received a well-deserved monetary award for achieving second place in Gallup McKinley County School District for high school student growth last year, a testament to our teacher's unwavering dedication to empowering students with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
