Mustang High School Volleyball Conditioning is the week of Aug 3-7, 3:30-5:00. Practice begins Aug 10, and tryouts end Aug 14.

As the new school year approaches, McKinley Academy is excited to welcome students back for orientation.
Orientation is your opportunity to pick up your class schedule, laptop, textbooks (where applicable), and school supplies, while getting ready for a successful start to the school year.

Hello Summer

Congratulations to the Ramah High School Junior class who finished out the year leading the school in attendance percentages for the last four months. Great job Juniors, and Mr. Morris as their sponsor.

The Navajo Language and Cultural class honored students who excelled throughout the school year with the Shízaad hoolʼáágóó bénáshniih doleeł: “I will remember my teaching” award, recognizing their dedication, teamwork, and outstanding role-modeling for their peers.

Today, the Ramah High School Business Class took a leap forward by showcasing their yearlong projects at the GMCS Business Showcase alongside two other business schools, demonstrating their drive and innovative spirit, and to top it off, the RHS Food Truck competitors emerged victorious, claiming first place - great job, Mustangs!

Students from three district business schools participated in the 2nd annual food truck challenge, where they managed and executed their own food truck businesses with support from SFE staff. Principals sampled and voted on the dishes, while students showcased their entrepreneurial experiences this year. Ramah's food truck featured a 'Mustang Burger Company' brand promotion with a surprise appearance by Mustang Sally. Principals got to vote, and the results will be announced at the district business showcase on May 29th.

Kudos to the Junior class for setting a strong example with 95% attendance in April - we're building momentum! Now, let's harness this energy to reach our 97% attendance goal in May by getting every student to class on time, every day, and unlock their full potential, because consistent attendance is a key driver of academic success.

On the third day of the BPA National Competition, students showcased their skills throughout the day, followed by an inspiring evening tour of Nashville that sparked fresh enthusiasm.

The Ramah Business School National Contestants for BPA seized day 2 opportunities, exploring the city, enjoying a riverboat show, rising to an escape room challenge and triumphantly cracking the code with 3 minutes to spare, forging connections through pin trading and attending the opening session with a keynote speaker who inspired positive change.

We're grateful to everyone who joined the GMCS Listening Tour at Ramah High School, including staff, parents, community members, and team members from David Skeet Elementary School, as Interim Superintendent Jvanna Hanks and GMCS staff worked together to spark meaningful conversations about how we can collectively drive positive change in our district.
