🏐🐎 Congratulations to Kenlie Martine on being recognized as Athlete of the Week.❤️
Kenlie had two great games last week against Zuni and Pine Hill, helping the Lady Mustangs come away victorious. Her consistent serves, strong defensive play, and determination on the court make her an important part of the team. Kenlie is always ready to step up and make a play. Whether she’s digging hard hits, serves, and tips, covering the court, or diving for the ball, she gives her best effort to help her teammates succeed.
Beyond her skills, Kenlie’s positive attitude, willingness to learn, and dedication are truly appreciated. She listens, works hard, and is always willing to try new things during practice and games. Her commitment to improving and supporting her team is something to be proud of!
🏅Kenlie was also named the second Mustang All-Tournament player at the Tucumcari tournament, earning a medal for her outstanding performance!
Congratulations, Kenlie! Your hard work, determination, and team spirit do not go unnoticed. Keep diving, keep learning, and keep giving it your all! We are proud of you! 👏🏐 #MustangPride #BuildingTomorrowToday

🎉Congratulations to last week's Athlete of the Week, Geneva Nabours. Geneva played a tremendous role in helping her team earn 4th place at the Tucumcari Tournament this past weekend! The Mustangs competed in three pool-play matches and three full tournament games, and Geneva gave her all every time she stepped onto the court. She had some incredible blocks, worked hard in the back row to pick up difficult hits from Tucumcari’s offense, and delivered several great kills and powerful attacks during the tournament. One of Geneva’s greatest strengths is her ability to read the court and anticipate the play, allowing her to make smart decisions and put herself in position to help her team. Her leadership, determination, and all-around effort were evident throughout the tournament.
To top off an outstanding weekend, Geneva was named one of two All-Tournament players for the Mustangs! 🏐🏅We are proud of the leadership, hard work, and heart she brings to the court.

Congratulations to our Sophomore and Junior classes for reaching the district goal of a 97% attendance rate for August. All the other classes were close behind. Great job, parents, for making sure your students make it to school each day. Attendance is one of the biggest predictors of getting good grades.

Ramah High School will draw names every two weeks from students who have had no tardies or absences those weeks. Our theme this year is Be Present. Being in school on time helps students keep up their grades and be able to graduate. The first winners of our Bi-Weekly Attendance Awards were Tristan Lesansee, Sterling River, Avery Clawson, and Damian Campos. Great job at being present, Mustangs.

Mr. Miller has lived in Oregon, California, South Carolina, Idaho, and now New Mexico. He says he thought this would be a great place to homestead. He had his Bachelor’s of Arts in History, and is excited to work here in Ramah. Ms. Tsosie comes from Torreón, NM. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Universal Studies Psychology and Education. She says that she used to be an Educational Assistant, and got to know the students, and wanted to continue with them in their educational journey. She wants to help show Native American students that anyone can be successful.
