As Halloween approaches, the Ramah School of Business has been focusing on expired or nearly expired businesses. Mrs. Grassie's Business class conducted research and created headstones and ghosts for these businesses. Each class sponsor was assigned a defunct business for their door, including Payless for Seniors, Kmart for Juniors, Vine for Sophomores, Blockbuster for Freshmen, Radio Shack for 8th grade, and Toys R Us for 7th grade. As a business school, we are reminded that any business can fail if customers are not kept satisfied.

🎓✨ GMCS Presents at the CES Conference! ✨🎓
The GMCS College & Career Department and Ramah High School School of Business presented “Pathways 101: Tips and Tricks for Building High-Quality Pathways in Schools” at the CES Conference in Albuquerque on October 16.
Principal David Gibbons shared how “Ramah means business” through hands-on courses that connect students to real-world learning. Two student ambassadors shared their Business Pathway experiences and how the skills they’re gaining are preparing them for future careers.
The team also highlighted how GMCS invests in Lincoln Electric welding training and certifications, supporting welding programs across the district with industry-level equipment, instruction, and credentials.

✨ Exciting News from the Student Support Center! ✨

Today, we welcomed our first round of student interns as they fill out their paperwork and get prepared for a successful semester ahead. These students are gearing up to gain hands-on, real-world work experience that will help them grow both personally and professionally.

Through this internship program, students will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the workplace while earning pay from their employers—both inside and outside of the school district.

We’re proud of their initiative and can’t wait to see all they will accomplish this semester! 👏🎉

Welcome back picture with August 6th start date.
It has been a busy summer for GMCS/SFE food service!
We distributed 30,000 meals in the form of 5-day meal kits to many children in the community.

We prepared hot meals onsite at 5 Gallup area parks using our hot dog carts! We served burgers, BBQ, and other kid-approved meals to our community kids!

Plus, we offered hot meals at all 33 GMCS school sites for all children during July. At SFE, feeding kids is our favorite summer activity!
